| Lucy-Ann Mcfadden is an astronomer and geophysicist who studies
comets and asteroids. For two weeks every month during the
dark of the moon, McFadden and her team scan for faint, fast-moving objects such as near-Earth asteroids. She has been the principal investigator of NASA’s planetary geology program since 1984, and works at the California Space Institute at the University of California, San Diego. |
