Women In Astronomy Today

The opening years of the twenty-first century finds many more women becoming astronomers. More powerful telescopes and new technology allows astronomers to observe from more parts of the globe. Astronomers now use telescopes at the North Pole and in orbit around Earth. And they plan telescopes for the far side of the Moon.
